How to Measure

- Measuring the height
While standing with the back to a vertical pole or to a wall, bare feet, with the heels right next to the wall and legs holded close. Use a flat object to make a mark of the height. - Arms length
While stretching the arms on the horizontal, either on a wall or any other horizontal flat surface, fingers also stretched, mark the beging and the ending, then measure the distance.
- Leg length
While standing up, measure from heel to the superior iliac crest.
- Calf length
While standing on a chair, from the heel to the top position.
- Trunk height
While standing on a chair use a ruller to measure the distance form the chair (between legs) to hollow sternum.
- Shoulders breadth
While standing, back close to a wall or another flat surface – the distance between the two articulations of the shoulder biacromial diameter.
- Mobility
While standing on a table, or any other flat high surface, from the level of the table to the tip of the fingers.
- Fist width
While grabbing a pole with both hands
